By accessing or using SideHop ("Service"), operated by Sidehop Labs, Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SideHop is an interactive storytelling platform that allows users to create characters, generate AI-powered videos, and experience branching narratives. The Service includes both free and paid features.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

  • Use, display, and distribute your User Content within the Service
  • Modify User Content for technical requirements
  • Use AI to generate derivative content based on your inputs

You represent that you have the right to grant these licenses and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Create content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Coins: Virtual currency used to unlock features. Coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Subscriptions: Recurring payments provide daily coins and premium features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.

Refunds: All purchases are final. Refunds may be provided at our discretion or as required by law.

Cancellation: You may cancel subscriptions at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content) are owned by Sidehop Labs, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIDEHOP LABS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sidehop Labs, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account by contacting support.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sidehop Labs, Inc. operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
